Be warned, NCS Expert does have the potential to do damage to your car if you don't use it properly, or set about playing with it not knowing what you are doing. It can be used for a variety of things, such as coding retrofitted Options to the car and modifying the existing software, in this case to activate a readout. NCS expert is a program used to modify and manipulate the existing software in your car. Because it is passive, ie only for reading values and the like, you can't really do any damage to your car using INPA. INPA is purely a diagnostic tool for checking fault codes and reading live data. It consists of 4 or 5 different programs that have different functions. This little guide focuses on a suite called BMW standard tools.
